Summer Trip #1
[Intro | Nauvoo | Chicago | Burlington | The End]
During the summer of 1998 I had to find SOMETHING to do besides live in
Burlington, Iowa. The first
part of my plan was to invite two good friends from Wichita to come to Burlington. These two friends
were already veterans from the Victoria, Kansas journey. I planned
on visiting Nauvoo, Illinois, the home of the
Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints before they moved on to Salt Lake City.
Next, We visited Chicago, a surprise for my friends. Finally, we explored the vast expanse
of nature that I call Burlington, Iowa. The second part of my plan will be complete when
I travel to Wichita August 7th-11th, 1998. During this period I plan on traveling to Big
Brutus, a giant crane in Southeastern Kansas. Soon after that trip, pictures and narration
