Chicago

Back
The Chicago trip was a surprise for my friends, and it was a very educational experience. We were
driven up to Galesburg, Illinois where the train travels from there to Chicago every morning and then
took the train back to Galesburg that evening. After we arrived in Chicago we walked a few blocks from
Union Station to The Sears Tower. After that, we caught a cab to the Water Tower district where we
looked at the stores in the area and went over to the Hancock building. At the Hancock building we
tried to get into the Cheesecake Factory restaurant but it was kind of crowded. We decided to save money
by eating in, of all places, McDonald's. After we ate we took yet another crazy cab to the
Field Museum of Natural History. Following that rousing activity we walked along Lake Michigan
and over to Buckingham Fountain. We thought we might be able to get a cab there, but we had to walk to
the art museum to locate one. Then it was off to the train station where we were whisked back to Galesburg.
Not bad for one day.

When the majority of the public goes to a museum, they take on the intellectual status of

Behold, the terrific behemoth that is the ancient, gnarled, witch's claw!
There's the green, abrasive side PLUS the smooth, massaging yellow side. But, what really
convinced me that the sponge is true is the secret, inner soap layer. Will you allow the soap
into your life?
