Photographic Portfolio This long exposure with flash froze Shelby Joseph as she rounded the end of a danceline during an Indian dance at Creighton's celebration of Navratri. This photo is so magnetic because it reveals an entirely honest enjoyment of the dance and shows one individual sharply and the environment as general information, not to detract from the focus. In addition, the bleedthrough of other people especially on the right side of her head shows the long exposure and adds to the effect of creating a feeling of movement.
